Rachel Joan Klein is a writer and researcher living in Princeton, New Jersey.

Her work has appeared in Yokogao MagazineOne Report Magazine with For Freedoms, Auspex Interdisciplinary Research Journal, and Hissyfit (forthcoming). She also writes a bi-monthly newsletter, Dog-Eared, which you can subscribe to here.

She received her BA in creative writing from Warren Wilson College and was awarded a scholarship from the New York State Writers Institute—providing residency in Saratoga Springs to workshop a manuscript about farmers’ relationship to death and dying in agriculture. She is currently earning her MA in Language & Literacy from The City University of New York’s City College campus.

She has taught creative writing to both high school and university students in Asheville, North Carolina and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most recently, she worked as a teacher and counselor in Tokyo, Japan, through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program
